This Weeks Gold will proudly be dj'ing next weekend as part of the Oxjam festival around Manchester's Norther Quarter. Always ones to support the charity shops by relieving them of old disco, house and hip hop records, not to mention played-to-death 7" reggae classics, we are genuinely pleased to be part of this event and are very much looking forward to playing alongside some great dj's and bands.
The lineup is too big to repeat here in full, but for 7 English pounds you can get a wristband that magically grants access to 8 different venues in Manchester's Norther Quarter, so you can pick and choose the best of the lineups in each. Its next Sunday, 25th October, and there is stuff going on all day so don't lie-in! Oh, and you will be supporting the fight against climate change at the same time, so get on it!
Official Poster:

We will be playing a couple of sets in Odd on Oxford Road during the day, from 2 o'clock ish onwards, and then between bands at the Mint Lounge during the evening. Im also gonna be playing a set later on that night (8-10pm) with fellow dj Sapnarella as 'Shoplifters', alongside Rich Reason and many others in room 2 of Mint. Bring on the Bass!

As for this weekend, its TWG night at the Deaf Institute again on Friday, so get your disco on and come down to feast on our musical nuggets.
9-3am, Free Entry
@ The Deaf Institute on Grosvenor St.
Aaaand (stay with me people!) If that wasn't enough, don't forget 'In The City' kicks off this Sunday until Tuesday... loads of great undiscovered bands and music industry big-wigs will be mooching around town looking to get it on with each other, and we all get some great music and stimulating panel debates in return. Again, too much to list in full but go check the website here. Oh, and look our for The Drums, they come highly recommended.
Sorry to keep you, nice one if you made it all the way down here. Back with the old tunes real soon.
TWG
x.
